Chef Mat Fulton had a passion for good food since Primary School and became a chef right after High School in his home country, the US of A where the best barbeque is made.
He worked as a chef in many renowned restaurants all over the world but when destiny brought him to this beautiful country he felt compelled to introduce New Zealand to some of his delicious childhood memories. Mats smoked meats are award winning.
He combines his own spice rubs and sauces with quality cuts of meat to turn it into tender, smoky goodness. His double barrel Octopit trailer smoker was designed and made especially for his needs and can be seen at the Kerikeri Farmers Markets, Competitions or when you book him to cater for you.
